I've personally never had to do this... but if your PI is being completely unreasonable, go talk to the rest of your committee or even other professors in the department. They should be able to help convince your PI to change their mind. If you find that the rest of the professors in the department agree with your PI, then they're probably right no matter how much you want to think otherwise. More info here. |
