I always associated Jim Corbett with safaris and wildlife, but recently I discovered that stargazing in Jim Corbett is becoming quite popular too because of the lower light pollution around the forest areas. Has anyone here actually done a stargazing or observatory experience in Uttarakhand before? Would love to know: -which place has darker skies — Corbett or Mukteshwar? -best months for Milky Way visibility -whether guided telescope sessions are worth it -if phone astrophotography works decently there -ideal stay duration for first-timers Trying to plan something different from the usual hill station trip this time. |
