Burmilla cats retain some of the playful and energetic qualities of their Burmese ancestry. They enjoy interactive playtime and may even fetch toys like a dog. Their semi-longhair coat is not as demanding to groom as that of a Persian. Regular brushing helps keep their fur in good condition burmilla and reduces shedding. Burmilla cats are intelligent and can be trained to perform tricks or use a litter box easily. They enjoy mental stimulation and burmilla cat may even learn to walk on a leash. While they may meow occasionally to communicate their needs, Burmilla cats are not overly vocal, making them suitable for people who prefer quieter pets. As a breed, Burmilla cats are relatively healthy and can have a long lifespan with proper care. |
