A Hedge Fund Administrator is a specialized financial service provider who runs the back-office operations of a hedge fund. The administrator's job is very important to the success of a hedge fund. The administrator is in charge of a number of tasks and responsibilities, such as figuring out the net asset value, making financial statements, collecting performance fees, keeping track of and balancing investor contributions, and making sure that all laws and rules are followed. An administrator also acts as a go-between for the fund and its investors. This makes it easier for information to flow between the two groups. |
